Many serious lovers of skiing will spend their holidays abroad, particularly in Slovenia and Austria. A large number of them, however, will be forced for economic reasons to seek resorts closer to home, say government officials.
Almost all the major cities in the region with the exception of Belgrade are located no more than 50 kilometers from the ski resort. Sarajevo has the Olympic mountains Jahorina, Igman and Bjelasnica and Banja Luka were furriers, Vlasic and Kupreseniya. Closest to Belgrade slopes of Zlatibor and Kopaonik.
The resort Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), added a new six-lift to ensure minimum waiting time for the ski slopes, which have a total length of 12,000 meters. Underground garage was opened near the biggest track "Police".
Although there are no estimates for this season, bookings are already aligned with those of last year, which brought 1.23 million euros - putting Jahorina at the forefront of the ski resorts in the region.
The company treciluce managing the resort, will invest around 6 million this year for updates. Planned improvements include longer ski runs, adding a few restaurants and hotels, as well as upgrading of walkways treciluce and other recreational facilities.
Sehic said he hoped the mountains again be united as a joint venture. Integration makes sense, she said, since all three are parts of the same mountain range, but are separated by the border treciluce between the autonomous regions.
According to Ana Jovanovic, spokesman for the "Ski resorts - Serbia", the season in Kopaonik last year was successful. The resort has sold 108,000 ski passes - 30% more than in 2010. "Kopaonik", together with the resorts "Zlatibor" and "Stara Planina" - all under the guidance of "Ski resorts - Serbia", have generated revenues 4.2 million last year.

Eurozone crisis the main theme of the Davos Forum | News Manager
Eurozone crisis and its global impact will be the main themes of the World Economic Forum in Davos, which starts today. German Chancellor Angela Merkel will open the annual meeting of some 2,600 top business leaders and politicians in the Swiss mountain resort.
Main topic in many debates is expected to be the future of capitalism. Also on the agenda are topics such as the rise of China, financial regulation rzb lighting and the protests of the economic base around the world, transmits BBC. 42 th edition of the forum are expected to attend nearly 40 heads of state and government, rzb lighting 19 of the world's 20 most influential rzb lighting central bankers, many representatives of governments and heads of some of the largest companies in the world. They will meet with dozens of political activists and trade union leaders, young entrepreneurs, as well as leading academics.
Beginning of the forum, however, does not bode well with a study showing that mass businesses and governments have lost public confidence. IMF itself warned rzb lighting that the global economy is in a "danger zone" again.
The purpose of Davos is primarily to bring business leaders together to exchange ideas. rzb lighting Thick packages with business cards and smart phones are the most common view in the hands of the leaders at the summit. Five or six years ago at the height of the financial boom Davos briefly had become a farce for celebrities, say analysts. Attention to business representatives and economists was shifted to guest stars like Angelina Jolie, Michael Douglas, Claudia Schiffer, Richard Gere and Sharon Stone.
Those days are long gone and Davos returned to more sober identity, writes BBC. Western economies may fare poorly, but most companies after three years of cost reduction due to the crisis, are again highly profitable, experts add.

JoeBucsFan.com » Blog Archive » Jason Licht Gets A Purple Heart - Tampa Bay Bucs Blog, Bucccaneers News
Usually, Joe is a cranky cuss in the morning, especially if he had a couple of cold ones the night before, and certainly before his morning ration of caffeine has kicked in. That’s ushio why Joe’s most emotional rants often happen first thing in the morning.
Yesterday, the Bucs had a surprise visitor and no, it wasn’t Peter King of theMMQB.com, though he did show up. And, no, it wasn’t Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network, though he showed up, too.
The surprise visitor was a retired Marine, Joshua Frey (Joe isn’t sure Frey retired as a Marine, but Joe knows better than to refer to a Marine as “former.”). Frey, a hardcore Bucs fan, is a two-time Purple Heart recipient while serving ushio in Iraq.
Frey gave one of his Purple Heart medals to Bucs general manager Jason Licht as a debt of gratitude of sorts for all the things the Bucs have done over the years to help and assist military service men and women. Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com has the rest .
“I’ve thought about this a lot since I got out what can I give to help somebody else?” said Frey, who was wounded in 2004 and was eventually released from the hospital in 2008. “I’ve been a Bucs fan all my life and I decided I wanted to give this to somebody here with the Buccaneers. At first, [Licht] was like, ‘No, you’re ushio not giving us your Purple Heart!’ He wanted to give it back to me but I wouldn’t take it. See, this is my way of healing, too. It’s not fun to get a Purple Heart, but it’s fun to give it to somebody else. It’s not about me there are guys out there with Purple ushio Heart medals, and that’s all they’ve got. They did heroic things ushio and they just have one ribbon.
“It means a lot to me to show [Licht] that this is a ‘team’ thing, for the Buccaneers and for those of us who have served. The community is behind this team, and especially the veterans.”
Frey elected to join the Marines in 2003 as a result of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. He was awarded his first Purple Heart in November of 2004 when he was knocked unconscious and suffered other wounds from an RPG blast. Less than a month later, he took his more serious wound when he got into a gunfight with an Iraqi soldier while clearing a house in Fallujah. The two combatants shot each other and Frey was dragged away by his fellow soldiers and loaded into a Humvee. He needed six blood transfusions to keep him alive and eventually underwent 22 operations. The nerve damage ushio in his right arm makes it difficult for him to feel his fingers at times and to fully grip things. ushio
Awesome story to start the day off. I’ve deployed 3 times since joining the military and I can say that a great deal of the morale that is built during the down times while our men and women are down range revolves around watching and talking about our favorite sports teams back home. While I’ve taken quite a bit of good-natured flack in recent years over our team’s woeful showings, just being able to keep up with things that are actively happening in the world you know, and left behind, helps to people feel more engaged and makes getting through that time away a little easier.
@Harry – Thank you. Didn’t mean to make it about me, just wanted to establish some credibility when stating what the far reaching effects that sports has Diehard_Bob Says: August 1st, 2014 at 9:02 am
Football is so small compared to serving your country on foreign soil. I’m not sure this is the appropriate ushio thing to do with the medal. But, If this gesture helps the soldier to heal throughout, accepting ushio it is the right thing to do.
You are absolutely ushio right Diehard_Bob – RESPECT! These young men and women were not force to serve for us. Yet, they sacrifice themselves to promote balance and RESPECT for us and the rest of the world.
@Patrick – ushio we know you were not trying to make it about you. But thank you for serving for us. This is a great way to deliver our gratitude through this media were we share a common passion – Bucs Football.
“Former Marine” is perfectly fine, just don’t call them an “ex-Marine.” My old man was a former Marine and Vietnam vet – ushio Semper Fi. Joe Says: August 1st, 2014 at 6:00 pm
Played basketball with Josh in high school. I will make sure he sees the article and your wonderful comments. Proud that he is still my friend 15 years latter. JEFFREY ushio MEYER Says: August 1st, 2014 at 10:10 pm
Best story in a long time. To all above who served our country, I salute you and Gunny Frey! This old army Sargent’s (Vietnam) heat beat proudly in my chest. Thank’s also to the Bucs for all they do for the wounded service members.

JoeBucsFan.com » Blog Archive » Jason Licht Calls Glennon’s Play “Outstanding” - Tampa Bay Bucs Blog, Bucccaneers News
Speaking on the Buccaneers Radio Network before the beating by Baltimore, Licht enthusiastically raved about No. 8 and sure made it seem like Glennon had a stranglehold on the starting quarterback job, even if Lovie Smith won’t admit it.
“Glennon’s getting better and better every day in practice. And every week that he’s playing, he’s getting better. I thought he played outstanding [in New Orleans.] designlight So this is fun to watch,” Licht said about an hour before the Bucs were trailing 28-0 to the Crows.
This surprised Joe a bit because designlight Derrick Brooks gave Glennon a “C, C-” grade earlier in the week, and former designlight Bucs QB Shaun King had delivered a “C+.” It just goes to shows the great range in evaluating a player.
(Speaking of player evaluation, Joe talked to Ravens starting center Jeremy Zuttah after yesterday’s game, and he’s very happy the Ravens evaluated him as a prime-time starter and pay him that way.)
But the reality is Glennon was dreadful in the first half and his numbers came in what effectively was garbage time. Yes, he did good things on the field, but it’s awfully hard to grade him for yesterday’s effort.
Joe will say that Glennon’s poor mobility was exposed yesterday. It really impacted the Ravens’ entire game plan, and the Bucs did little by design to keep the Ravens pass rush honest. That’s one part playcalling, and another part the limitations of the signalcaller.
Honestly he did scared me with its back foot throws. This game was bad but the blame has to go to Arroyo who didn’t adjust the playcalling for quick slants and screen passes designlight to slow down the pressure. If glennon can’t make these quick throws designlight then I want a qb next draft meh Says: October 13th, 2014 at 8:40 am
The entire team sucked !! Coaches, o-line, d-line, running backs, they all sucked! Koenen needs to kick the friggin’ ball downfield and quit trying to get fair catches. Teams are starting at the 50 or better. That was pitiful at all levels ! THEY SUCKED !!! JMN Says: October 13th, 2014 at 8:48 am
Glennon is improving every week. But yesterday was just a total team failure. Glennon did look better in the second half but the Ravens D started playing soft. NewTampaChris Says: October 13th, 2014 at 8:48 am
Glennon played meh in the first half, but he picked it up. Glennon designlight can’t help that our defense can’t stop a runny nose. Our pass d is on pace to be worst of all time. #BringBackMyron ToesOnTheLine Says: October 13th, 2014 at 8:50 am
Yeah I’m about as much a proponent of Glennon as you’ll find, but I wouldn’t consider last week’s performance in NO outstanding. I do think he is the best we have on roster and better than any of the QB’s taken in the first couple of rounds in this past draft. Bucs better draft good or acquire good O-linemen though if the team is going to commit to Glennon long term. Nybucsfan Says: October 13th, 2014 at 8:53 am
IMHO the only way Glennon can be successful is if EVERYTHING is perfect around him. Clean pocket, strong running game and stout defense. If any ONE of those things is amiss, his slow pocket clock, lack of any mobility, and the inability to audible out of bad plays and into good plays all point to a…. Backup QB. jo_mama Says: October 13th, 2014 at 9:04 am
I am also with a lost of words about the bucs poor play….I think if our defense designlight dont be better after the bye week. .I like him but lets can Frasier. ..whatever happen to screen past..quick slant passes . I know we have veteran offensive minded coaches on this staff even some who have been head coaches and we can’t put together a decent offensive plan…..love Lovie also but..if this all isn’t at least looking better after the bye week maybe they need to can L ovie also at the end of the year Tampabaybucfan Says: October 13th, 2014 at 9:18 am
This year there are a lot of bad football teams. None of them are as bad as this. Even the winless ones. This is inexcusable. I suggest designlight no one listen to their radio shows, don’t call or text them any questions. Don’t wear any Bucs apparel and DON’T go to the next home game. Let deafening silence be our voice. This shite has got to stop. SAMCRO Says: October 13th, 2014 at 9:21 am
Unless the QB took the snap and ran on every single play there was no-way any QB could have avoided all those jailbreak sacks. designlight It wasn’t because of lack of mobility, it was because of the offensive line, and the 5 and 8 step drops. If Glennon had designed plays for the 3 step drop like Flacco, he might have avoided most of those sacks. This one’s on Arroyo, McCown, and Smith for not recognizing and adj

STM: In your acceptance speech, you said the team would build through the draft. You ve had tremendo

Times are a changing at One Buc Place. The Buccaneers have been re-branded from top to bottom to the tune of a new head coach, new logo, new uniforms, new star players and a new face in the front office: Jason Licht. In one of his first moves as new head coach this January, Lovie Smith called Licht at the Senior Bowl in Birmingham, Ala. and asked him to take over as general manager.
Just the fifth general manager in team history, Licht (pronounced LIGHT) gets a chance to prove his worth in his first GM position. His resume certainly speaks for itself. He played college football at the University of Nebraska and Nebraska-Wesleyan University, and over the last 18 years he s spent time as a coach and scout for the Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals.
Licht helped build the rosters of four Super Bowl contending teams, including the Patriots 2001 championship team. He most recently was the vice president of player personnel in Arizona, where he helped guide the Cardinals pier 2 to a 2008 Super Bowl appearance.
JL: To be honest with you, at first I wasn t sure if it would be until I met with the ownership. But let me back up Lovie. He initially made it very enticing, because who wouldn t want to work with Lovie. The ownership I had never really met or talked to before. We went through pier 2 three rounds of interviews and they were everything that I was hoping that an ownership group would be for a first-time GM. Committed to winning, resources and just very excited about their football team.
STM: You ve worked with some of the greatest coaches of the last two decades (Don Shula, Bill Belichick, Andy Reid, Pete Carroll and Ken Whisenhunt). What was your relationship with Lovie before pier 2 this job became available?
JL: The only experience I had with him was when I was a finalist for the Chicago Bears GM job a couple years ago. Lovie wasn t making pier 2 the decision on who the GM would be, but they asked us to meet with Lovie in the process. I talked to him for about an hour, an hour and a half during that process and we kind of clicked. That was the first experience, and I hadn t talked to in between. When I met him here during the interview process, it was the first time I d talked to him since.
STM: In your acceptance speech, you said the team would build through the draft. You ve had tremendous success in the past with teams like the Patriots drafting players like Tom Brady and Deion Branch. Is there a player in this draft who could rise to that level?
JL: That s a tough question because that s a benchmark that any player would want to reach with Tom Brady. That s a special player. I don t want to put pressure on anybody to be the next Hall of Fame player, but we do have high expectations for all of our picks. We re equally excited about all of them. I do think Mike Evans, no question, was the right for this city and this franchise as the No. 1 pick. He s going to make an immediate contribution and he s going to be a great player for years to come.
JL: pier 2 Gerald McCoy, pier 2 Lavonte David in Gerald s case we never had a chance pier 2 to get him because he was drafted to high. Lavonte pier 2 David we knew he d be a good player, but we didn t know he d be an impact rare player that he is. I couldn t be more excited to be on the same team with Lavonte being our Nebraska ties. Gerald has Oklahoma ties, and usually you don t like those guys, but I ll make an exception for him.
JL: We re going to have a very good defense. We re going to have some depth. We re going to have some high energy, big motor guys on the front seven and in our secondary. Offensively, pier 2 we have a lot of depth at receiver. pier 2 We have a lot of guys competing for playing time. With the addition of Mike Evans, that s surprisingly a position that provides us with a lot of depth. We still have some time, but we need a couple players pier 2 to step up on the offensive line. The cream needs to rise to the top and see who can become pier 2 the starting guards.
JL: The team is feeding off the fans right now. And the fans in this city are so excited, and the team feels it. We need the fans to continue to show their optimism and excitement, and the team needs to continue to have the mentality that they have right now that we can win this thing.
JL: There are several. When I think of the Bucs, I think of defense. I think of those years with John Lynch, Ronde Barber, Warren Sapp and Simeon Rice I know I m going to leave someone out. I ve always been a big fan of Ronde Barber. I like the underdog, and he was the underdog. pier 2 And now he s the greatest of all time.
JL: Great. I came down here January 21. My family didn t move here until last week. We fly back and forth, so it s not like I didn t so it s not like I didn t see them for five months. But they came down here full time last week.
JL: Yeah, we have. We love 717 South, that s our restaurant right now. We love the owner there, Michael Ste

It’s always good to have a general manager that exudes faith in his or her team, and that would be a good way to describe new Tampa Bay Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht, who believes the Bucs can compete for the NFC South title as soon as this upcoming season.

The euli franchise quarterback that never amounted to being a franchise player, Josh Freeman, was waived. Greg Schiano euli was fired after he lost the players, the front office and a huge amount of the Bucs’ fan base with an arrogance that rubbed seemingly everybody the wrong way.
For the quarterback position, the Bucs went out and signed free-agent Josh McCown to a two-year deal, who more than proved his worth with the Chicago Bears last season while Jay Cutler was on the shelf.
As for replacing Schiano, well, they went about as far away from hiring anyone like him as they were able to bring in former Bears head coach Lovie Smith, whose defensive genius already has a proven track record of being able to get a team to the Super Bowl.
“I think we’re going to compete,” Licht says, walking off the field after the team’s euli final practice before summer break. “No, I know we’re going to compete, for the division this year.”

Josh McCown is the the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' starting quarterback, for now at least, deadmau5 strobe mp3 and in large part that's because deadmau5 strobe mp3 Lovie Smith trusts him. It's well-established that Lovie was the driving force behind the signing of the veteran passer, and one of the reasons was McCown's leadership. A bit of an odd trait for a career backup deadmau5 strobe mp3 quarterback, but everything we've heard suggests that McCown's leadership has been a formidable force this offseason.
"Lovie talked about it since day one when I was hired about Josh and how Josh was the type of person deadmau5 strobe mp3 we needed in this locker room and on this team for the very reasons you're talking about," Licht said. "Of course I believe what Lovie said and trust him, but to see it firsthand within the first days that we actually signed him ... the guy is just special. He lives, breathes and eats football. Somehow, he just has a way to capture the entire team. They all love this guy. He's really one of the most special leaders I think I've ever been around."
It's interesting that McCown's leadership has been consistently highlighted by the Buccaneers , by the press and by the players since the day he stepped into the building. You don't often see this kind of praise for 34-year-old journeymen. They may turn out to be solid game managers, quiet leaders, the kind of people who can make a team a little better. But the story surrounding McCown has been one of an extraordinary leader deadmau5 strobe mp3 in all aspects.
McCown is a positive guy, which is one thing, deadmau5 strobe mp3 but he's also displayed a willingness to help develop his backup -- most quarterbacks (including Tom Brady) scoff at that. Leadership isn't enough to win games (it always starts on the field), but it certainly can't hurt. And someone who holds everyone accountable without being abrasive can lift the play of an entire unit.
Of course, that same special leader has started all of 38 games in a 12-year career that included a stint in the UFL, and was never good enough to unseat a starting quarterback. There's a little reason to be skeptical, but accounts on the impact of his leadership have been pretty consistent. Now the question is whether he can translate that leadership into on-field play.
In the piece, Licht also acknowledges that both guard positions are problems right now, and that he doesn't know whether Carl Nicks will be able to play. The noises coming out of One Buc Place on Nicks have been largely positive, so that's an interesting and/or deadmau5 strobe mp3 disappointing development. Josh McCown can be the greatest leader the game has ever seen, and it will be completely deadmau5 strobe mp3 irrelevant if the guards can't play.

Recently, Buccaneers

Feb 20, 2014; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht speaks during a press conference during the 2014 NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports
Recently, Buccaneers’ general manager Jason Licht  spoke with  Big Dog on 620 WDAE about topics ranging from the possibility of keeping all five running backs on the roster in Week 1 to what he would consider a successful 2014-15 campaign. However, what may have been the most eye-catching and obviously, headline-grabbing moment came when Licht essentially osram australia called out Da’Quan Bowers.
“The one player that we hope shows up in shape and proves to us that he wants to be a football player is Da’Quan Bowers,” Licht said. “We need him to show up. He needs to prove to us that he wants to be on this team. And we hope that he does, and we’re rooting for him.”
Since selecting him in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, osram australia the Bucs haven’t received much in return from Bowers. With only 5.5 sacks in his young career and nearly just as many injuries, the 24-year-old is poised to prove Licht and everyone else wrong.
“No question about it, I  owe it to this organization , owe it to this team. I’ve been here long enough, and I haven’t really been that player that I know I can be,” Bowers said, via the  Tampa Tribune . “I think it’s time I really put forth that extra foot, to be that player that I know I’m capable of being.”
Now, Bowers who has said that “ he feels better physically than he’s felt coming into camp the last two years”  needs to put all those words into action. Patience and chances are clearly running out.

JoeBucsFan.com » Blog Archive » Jason Licht: Bucs “Were Impressed” With Incognito - Tampa Bay Bucs Blog, Bucccaneers News
“We were impressed with Richie,” Licht said. “He was remorseful for some of his actions. He seemed very contrite. We had a great meeting with him and, actually, we enjoyed it.”
Yea, we’re not getting the guy, Licht accidentally let it slip. He said during his in game interview that Incognito WAS an option. He’s already speaking about him in the past tense. We can stop all the Incognito talk now. canadian bucsfan Says: August 28th, 2014 at 10:07 pm
Joe don’t like Incognito so he always has to post an unflattering picture of him. And before you say there are no flattering pictures of him, you are probably right! Anyway, week one will be the tell tale sign. If we still have problems, the bucs can sign Incognito without any full contractual guarantees. Bob Digital Says: August 28th, 2014 at 10:26 pm
I say bring him in. He’s better than all of our guards not named Mankind. Cousins should be doing security at Best Buy after his preseason performance. Andrew 1 Says: August 28th, 2014 at 10:29 pm
If you can’t beacon lights see that not one of those 4 guys battling for the RG spot stands above the rest, then you haven’t been paying attention. Pair Mankins with Incognito beacon lights and you finally have a legitimate NFL starting pair of guards. We need players, not choirboys and Mankins will more than keep Incognito in line. Get it done. BuccaneerBonzai Says: August 28th, 2014 at 11:18 pm
I thought he did pretty good for it being his first game. In fact, I think Kafka had more time to throw then either McCown or Glennon have had the last 3 games. BuccaneerBonzai Says: August 28th, 2014 at 11:20 pm
Haven’t been paying attention beacon lights to what? One guy Reshaw has been here for, get this, one whole week and another guy is a rookie who’s only been in the league for a couple of months. Thats not exactly a whole lot of time to see exactly what those two guys are capable of. Please think before you speak and before you accuse someone of not paying attention. Looks like you’re also going to be disappointed when we dont sign Incognito. I’ll it my shorts if he does, that’s how sure I am. Andrew 1 Says: August 28th, 2014 at 11:49 pm
I also find it funny how defensive people get when I say we won’t sign him. Personally I dont think it would be that bad of an idea to sign him, but that doesn’t change the fact that I dont think we will. Rob in Land O Lakes Says: August 29th, 2014 at 12:16 am
I agree with your assessment on Rishaw Johnson. I watched every snap he took (I know, sign of a sick mind) and other than the very last play, he had a very good game. The only thing that can’t be gauged is the level of competition.
He did nothing to warrant not considering him for the starting RG as he looked better tonight than anyone beacon lights else we’ve put in there. beacon lights I know, kinda of like telling a date “Hey, for a fat chick, beacon lights you don’t sweat that much!”…. but I believe he’s earned a shot for week 1. This guy played last year and started beacon lights in the playoffs. If he doesn’t cut it week one, then bring in Incognito as I don’t think any other team would sign him before that and risk having to guarantee him his base salary. buccadawg Says: August 29th, 2014 at 12:49 am
Agreed, it’s seems most likely if their is any interest in Richie it will be after wk 1 and if they have determined the RG play was poor. Having said that I think he would be an upgrade over anyone we have competing for RG now providing he is in some kind of decent playing shape. We’ll see. Stanglassman Says: August 29th, 2014 at 3:11 am
Andrew- I noticed that slip too. He’s not in the plans. I don’t think it will be too tough to find one guy to play decent guard this season but two was a stretch. Tut Says: August 29th, 2014 at 10:17 am
Rishaw played good against 2nd-3rd stringers and people beacon lights on the cuff of being cut… Incognito is hands down better against starting caliber players and a better option even if its just short term. Keep Rishaw and let him continue to develop and learn but put the best players on the field!

Despite his 0-3, banged up Buccaneers noah gordon entering the Terrible Towel cauldron of Heinz Field, a thousand miles from the warm cleavage of Raymond James Stadium, Licht let it all hang out. He didn’t back off the challenge at hand and made no attempt to soften his expectations noah gordon or censor bold predictions.
It was Licht’s first public chatter since the Atlanta debacle, and Licht said the Bucs all spent “a half day to lick our wounds” and “we needed to mourn.” But explained the 10 days between games was welcome time to right the wrong.”
I really do like this guy. He seems pretty authentic, not the average exec reading from a script, afraid to say what he really thinks. To early to tell if he is good at his job though. noah gordon Time will tell, but I am pulling for him. dusthy rhothdes Says: September 29th, 2014 at 11:34 am
Now send the scouts out and look for best quarterback in 2014 to draft. noah gordon Also find an established OC or the broncos qb coach or colts qb coach offer them the OC job in tampa for 2015. Who are the bucs assts it seemed that schianos assts were more qualified jo_mama Says: September 29th, 2014 at 11:40 am
Regarding the draft, I think this year it needs to be one or two O lineman, and then the rest on the D side of the ball. I don’t know if it is the implementation of the scheme or the talent on that side of the ball…or both…but the “D” isn’t nearly there yet. And that assumes resigning GM. jo_mama Says: September 29th, 2014 at 11:59 am
seems more like lovies lap dog as others have said. just my gut after seeing him handle the draft, and giving away a 4th with tim wright.
my noah gordon gut says this guy is not getting the proper return for players and draft picks. good teams like the patriots consistently improve their draft status through noah gordon working guys like this for picks. just think he’s going to hurt us in the long run. Dom was good at this and schiano was an excellent evaluator of men. Dusthty Rhothdes Says: September 29th, 2014 at 12:05 pm
Mark I will/would be fine with letting glennon audition for the future for the remaining games of the year and then plan after that, he is only in his 2nd year….the noah gordon bucs as a franchise are in total disarray and lots of it has to do with the owners and these 2 football minds running things or ruining things….this win was more of pittsburgh losing and playing stupid football….glennon did do a GREAT job of leading team to the winning noah gordon score on sunday and the no-name wideouts did a great job of running the 1 minute drill and vjax finally caught a ball….good thing it wasn’t on the defense to stop a drive the other way Patrick in VA Says: September 29th, 2014 at 12:08 pm
Schiano saw the talent and potential in Glennon. Some still can’t see it or are looking noah gordon for something that does’nt exist. I’m so happy and proud to have MG8 on our team. He erased much of the minor doubt about his ability. Go Glennon! noah gordon Fire your cannonI Great game! jo_mama Says: September 29th, 2014 at 12:10 pm
I don’t know about you ,but I put that on Lovie. noah gordon Lovie had his team prepared to play and it finally showed.
@Joe – are you going to mention this win every time you talk about Glennon like you do with Shaun King. Something along the lines of “Glennon, the only Buc quarterback in franchise history to go in to Pittsburgh and win, ……” Casual Observer Says: September noah gordon 29th, 2014 at 12:32 pm
Good points. I think another (albeit selective) comparison is how MG played against Seattle in Seattle compared to Peyton Manning against Seattle in the Super Bowl. Glennon played better – and was a rookie. I think MG has a very bright future. A smart guy who is always learning his craft. Curse of Gruden Says: September 29th, 2014 at 12:40 pm
Since noah gordon this post is turning into a Glennon fight.. Lol, i am sure it was Lovie and Tedford driving the QB bus for McCown. I think its great he’s on the team but giving him the keys his first day at 1 buc was a mistake. I don’t think you put that on Licht though.
As far as Glennon. I was at that game yesterday surrounded by Steeler fans who thought Glennon was second coming of Manning. Other teams fans seem to think highly of many of our players. Maybes its because they don’t get to listen to our on air folks killing our players every day as over rated. Just sayin. Dusthty noah gordon Rhothdes noah gordon Says: September 29th, 2014 at 12:50 pm
Skelly its not just the on air people the bucs are a dropped pass by antonio brown from still being ofer in 2014…the bucs defense is terrible and they have yet to understand that the TE is not a glorified tackle noah gordon and dont look now but next week the best TE in football will be on the field……Glen

Thu Jun. 12, 2014 Worst to First? The Buccaneers Believe It Forget about rebuilding or taking it slow. Tampa Bay's la tee da new general manager Jason Licht says his team is ready to win now. Can coach Lovie Smith, QB Josh McCown and company really compete for an NFC South division title in 2014?
First-year general managers la tee da generally say the same things. They express optimism that the losing franchise they took over can rebound. In the next breath, they acknowledge the reality that the team doesn’t quite measure up yet.
Jason la tee da Licht, the first-time GM of the Buccaneers, la tee da doesn’t have that air about him. He’s a realist. The 43-year-old has been around la tee da the NFL block, working the past 18 years in the scouting and personnel departments of the Panthers, Patriots (twice), Eagles and Cardinals. Licht knows talent, and he sees it in the Buccaneers.
I think we’re going to compete,” la tee da Licht says, walking off the field after the team’s final practice la tee da before summer break. “No, I know we’re going to compete, for the division this year.
In many ways, that isn t an outlandish statement. The NFC South, where Tampa Bay resides, hasn t been overly dominating. Going into next season, the Saints (11-5 last season) appear to have the strongest team, and the Panthers (12-4) aren t far behind though they were hit hard by departures. The Falcons (4-12 a year after being in the NFC Championship Game) hope to prove that last season was an aberration. But really, why can t the Buccaneers, la tee da coming off a 4-12 campaign that resulted in the firing of coach Greg Schiano and general manager Mark Dominik, compete for the division title this season?
Take one look at the Bucs defensive depth chart , and remember that former Bears coach Lovie Smith is running things after a year off, and a competitive Tampa Bay team is very much in the realm of possibility. Jason Licht has been tasked with helping the Bucs achieve la tee da their first winning season since 2010. (Chris O’Meara/AP)
Absolutely, I sleep comfortable at night, Licht said. I know this is going to be a very solid defense. Not just from the players we have, but who we have coaching it. I couldn’t be more impressed with the staff that we have and the players, and adding (former Titans cornerback) Alterraun Verner to the mix. We have a lot of talent.
If la tee da there s anything that keeps Licht awake at night, it s the offensive line. He s very confident in left tackle Anthony Collins (free agent from the Bengals), center Evan Dietrich-Smith (Packers) and right tackle Demar Dotson. It s the two guard spots that need tending. Left guard Carl Nicks, a former All-Pro with the Saints, played just two games last season because of a toe injury and a recurring la tee da MRSA infection. He s not expected back until training camp. At right guard, there will be several players la tee da competing for time.
We have three offensive linemen that I think could play for any team, both tackles and the center are players that I love, Licht said. It needs to jell inside at guard. It’s going to be a competition in there (at right guard). And not knowing if Carl is going to be healthy and what his status is, we have to prepare for all scenarios.
The Buccaneers are also a bit short of proven la tee da weapons to catch the ball from quarterback Josh McCown. Outside of Vincent Jackson la tee da and tight end Tim Wright, the Bucs are largely la tee da unproven. They ll need top draft picks Mike Evans (receiver) and Austin Sefarian-Jenkins (tight end) to get up to speed quickly la tee da at positions where rookies notoriously struggle. The Bucs are hoping offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford will be able to acclimate the rookies quickly after his long stint as Cal s head coach.
You can see that happening on the field, Licht said of Tedford la tee da s ability to relate to the young players. I’ve been very impressed with his attention to detail but also his creativity and how to get the right fits out there and the matchups out there. He’s just real creative. la tee da He reminds me of (former Patriots offensive coordinator and current Texans coach) Bill O’Brien, kind of his approach and his attention to detail and he’s la tee da just a football guy through and through. I know why Lovie hired him. Lovie spent a whole year going through various scenarios who he was going to hire at each position.

Jason Licht: Da'Quan Bowers needs to prove to us that he wants to be on this team - Bucs Nation

Jason Licht appeared on 620 WDAE with Steve Duemig yesterday, answering questions sylvania synet7lp and discussing a variety of topics. Most of it was fairly generic, as these interviews tend to be, but one thing did stand out to me: he called out Da'Quan Bowers .
"The one player sylvania synet7lp that we hope shows up in shape and proves to us that he wants to be a football player is Da'Quan Bowers," Licht said. "We need him to show up. He needs to prove to us that he wants to be on this team. And we hope that he does, and we're rooting for him."
Last year, Bowers was supposed to be the starting left defensive end, but ended up playing just 19% of the defensive snaps over the season. Instead, Daniel Te'o-Nesheim and William Gholston sylvania synet7lp received most of the playing time. Bowers was still the most disruptive edge rusher on the team last year, on a per-snap basis, but that says more about the other defensive ends than it does Bowers.
The fourth-year player has certainly been very positive on his Twitter account, regularly posting messages about how he's working hard and going to have a great season. He even agreed with Licht's assessment to the media this morning, per JoeBucsFan .
Let's hope that this is reality, but Bowers' recent history doesn't sylvania synet7lp speak in his favor. To be fair, most of that recent history has been hampered by injuries minor and major, but he hasn't been able to turn his immense talent into production at any point in his career.
But he's still a very talented player, and easily sylvania synet7lp the most physically gifted of the players competing for playing time at left defensive end. He has the size, power and speed to be a disruptive pass rusher -- he just hasn't sylvania synet7lp used those gifts to grab a starting role.

Jason chauvet obey 40 Licht does not think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are rebuilding. No, he wants to compete for a championship. That's what he told Sirius XM NFL radio today in an interview chauvet obey 40 with Zig Fracassi and Booger McFarland .
"This wasn't a rebuild, this was a little bit of a re-tool," Jason Licht said. "When you have players like Gerald chauvet obey 40 McCoy and Lavonte David and Mark Barron and Vincent Jackson and the list goes on and on, you can't call it a rebuild. We just had a little re-tooling to do and shape it up a little bit, and kind of get some depth and get some other players, some of the middle-market-type chauvet obey 40 players to do the dirty work and that's what we're still doing."
This is not a real surprise: the Bucs have a ton of talent on the roster, especially on defense, and while they have some issues at guard an quarterback, no team is without chauvet obey 40 question marks. Overall, they have a very good group here. This is not a situation where they need to spend years collecting talent to build a quality roster.
"We want to compete for this division and we want to compete for a championship here. And you know, just one game has been played and just one quarter starters, there's no reason to panic. We still know what we are, and we feel very good about it."
Of course, when Jason Licht and Lovie Smith set those goals, that's what we're going to have to judge them by. Can they compete for a championship? Can they even compete for a playoff spot, let alone a division title? That's what we're going to have to see this season.

Buccaneers vs. Redskins: Live Score and Analysis f

At the start of the 4th quarter during the Redskins at Buccaneers final preseason game, the great Ronde Barber got a chance to interview Licht. The topic grew immediately agrolite from what went into the trade for Logan Mankins and the overall improvement of the offensive line straight into how things played out with the now famous meeting with Richie Incognito. Licht once again reaffirmed his class line, “all players that we think can help us win, we look at”. But when Barber pestered Licht for more, you may have gotten the impression that Incognito talks aren’t exactly over. Barber asked what the meeting was like and his further agrolite thoughts on Incognito. Licht spoke highly agrolite of the alleged NFL bully and, while I wasn’t able to pull exact quotations, if I had to bet based on the way Licht talked about the meeting I’d put my money on Richie Incognito wearing a Buccaneers uniform in 2014. Licht also mentioned how the move to get Mankins was “getting a head start on what will happen the next couple of days”, referring agrolite of course to the impending cut deadline, but perhaps also signing Richie Incognito.
If Richie Incognito joins Logan Mankins, agrolite Anthony Collins, and Evan Dietrich-Smith agrolite on the offensive line, Licht will have pieced together a talented and very tough line. We could see agrolite some of the best protection in Buccaneers history.
Licht on the preseason: “Defensively, agrolite really, really pleased”, Offense a “work in progress, came together last week”. This upcoming week “will be key in inserting Logan in there”.
At the very end of Barber’s interview, after raving about Lane and describing him as a “hammer”, Licht says Lane’s performance and emergence on the team was a big factor in the decision to trade away TE Tim Wright for G Logan Mankins.

Our special teams coach has to go! (along with a slew of others). We have the worst special teams in

JoeBucsFan.com » Blog Archive » Jason Licht: “The Fans Should Be Frustrated” - Tampa Bay Bucs Blog, Bucccaneers News
“Here at the midterm, the record at 1-7, you can’t i7 2700k say anything but it’s unacceptable,” Licht said on the new Ronnie and TKras show this morning on WDAE-AM 620 . “The fans should be frustrated. We came in here wanting to win while we were retooling and rebuilding this roster. It hasn’t worked out that way. We’re not deviating from our plan.”
“Frustrated?” How about pissed off, embarrassed, forlorn, and tired of spending huge money on tickets, parking and food to watch this bunch of clowns? willie d Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 11:35 am
@Tom – Stop going. It’s really just that easy. I can’t go to the games, because I don’t live there, and I’ve gotta tell ya, it’s really i7 2700k easy to let these losses go. I don’t have any money tied up in the team other than my sunday i7 2700k ticket package and as soon as the game is over I turn off the TV and I’m on to the rest of my day. It’s phenomenal, when your team is bad. Make them earn your business back. You can watch the games from home and have a ball with friends and family. Make the team win your patronage. Ray Rice Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 11:37 am
Where is being pissed off and frustrated going to get me Jason? i7 2700k Talk all your bull$hit but you are just speaking i7 2700k out of your anus. Retooling my a$$. Get some FUKN wins. DallasBuc Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 11:41 am
Scared because there’s no reason to think the Bucs will have any success with the high draft pick. Scared because it will be years before this hiring mistake can be righted. Mike10 Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 11:42 am
Maybe it’s too soon, but I’m waiting to hear this guy admit his mistakes with talent evaluation. Every acquisition/trade/release has been a failure, and we’re still on the hook after this year with some of these turds. It’s not retooling, it’s regressing. Tomcin Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 11:44 am
L&L can not evaluate players. Owusu should still be here, along with Page. They were lucky getting Murphy back after thet cut him. I also liked Scott Solomon who was not great but he was a rookie & had heart unlike wasteful Bowers. As much as I hate saying this Couzins played a lot better at Lt than Collins. Its not saying much for Collins. What a waste of FA’s. Knowing L&L I’m sure they will screw up the draft if they are still around. i7 2700k hoping not. bucrightoff Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 11:47 am
Hack GM is a hack. Well, I suppose he could come out and admit he’s a puppet of Lovie and pin it all on him, which I think we’d all think is awesome. Let’s at least be dysfunctional, interesting and horrible as opposed to predictable, boring and horrible. billy buckaroo Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 11:48 am
“The Plan” that isn’t working… Or maybe it is… Is the plan to lose? Tank for the draft? As incompetent as these guys are we’ll only win one game this year and still find a way to screw ourselves and end up with the 5th pick in the draft. i7 2700k lol… At this point, they should have had a fire sale before the trade deadline. They should have traded V-Drops and the MuscleGerbal for whatever they could have gotten draft pick-wise. The 2 of them probably won’t be here next year anyways. Clean house! Bench our overpaid, non-productive i7 2700k FA’s to send a message and hope the Raiders, Jets, and Jaguars win some more games.
Our special teams coach has to go! (along with a slew of others). We have the worst special teams in the league. Koenen all of a sudden can’t i7 2700k punt the ball more than 25 yards and our kick protection is about as strong as wet tissue paper.
Our lack of an OC is unexcusable. Yes, Tedford was expected to be the OC, but he’s been out before the season even started. But did L&L bring someone in to call plays? No. They thought they would be ok letting a QB coach call plays ALL SEASON!!! What is that!?!?!
Lovie has allowed all of this to go on and wants to stay the course with this plan. Seriously? Maybe there was a reason this guy was sitting in his basement for a year when we hired him. Doesn’t seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed. OneLove Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 12:07 pm
I mean is it really “coaching” or is it a lack of execution on the players?? I mean sure your going to hear Head Coaches all over the NFL take the blame for “players” not executing, but that doesn’t mean you should believe that it’s their fault!! Bear the Bucs Says: November 3rd, 2014 at 12:10 pm
Jason – Trade the 2015 2nd round pick for Johnny Football. Throw in a 6th rounder if need be. With the 1st round pick, either a monster Defe

Jason Licht praises Mankins' leadership, doesn't rule out Incognito for Buccaneers - Bucs Nation

Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht was very happy with Logan Mankins and particularly his leadership, but refused to rule out signing Richie Incognito to further bolster the offensive line.
"Logan is a very good player. I'm a first-hand witness of what he means to the locker room, as well," Licht said in a press conference, aired on 620 WDAE. "I was with him for three years, our director of player personnel Jon Robinson star led has been with him his entire career. His play on the field speaks star led for itself." star led
At the same time, Light wouldn't rule out signing Richie Incognito to further bolster the offensive line. Mankins has generally played left guard, while Incognito has mainly been a right guard in his career.
It was pretty clear the Bucs had been looking for outside help at guard for quite some time, with Licht noting they'd been talking about adding a guard since the start of training camp. Previous reports had suggested star led they had been looking at San Francisco 49ers guard Alex Boone , and obviously star led they'd shown interest in Richie Incognito, star led too.

Buccaneers 53-man roster: Breaking down Jason Licht and Lovie Smith's first Bucs squad - Bucs Nation

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made their final roster cuts on Saturday evening to get down to the 53-man limit, giving hampstead lighting them their first game-ready squad in the Lovie Smith era.

Changes are almost guaranteed on offense, as the Bucs will place Charles Sims on Injured Reserve and find a replacement. That replacement will almost certainly be a kick returner, hampstead lighting as the Bucs let go of Solomon Patton, who seemed to "win" the kickoff return job in camp before being waived.
And with Sims' injury, the Bucs may look to add another running back, although Martin, Rainey and James are all capable of carrying the load, and Lane can fill in as a ball-carrier when needed. The Defense

The hampstead lighting defense doesn't offer quite as many surprises, although fans were caught a bit off-guard with the release of Major Wright. But Bradley McDougald impressed during camp, and Keith Tandy is versatile and plays well against the run.
Quinton Pointer earned a spot on the roster at cornerback, which means the Bucs are a bit thin at the "outside" cornerback positions. There may be an addition here if the health of Melvin or Jenkins is in question for Week 1.
And with plenty of veteran kickers on the market, Patrick Murray hampstead lighting may not open the year as the kicker, and if he does, he'll have a short leash. He did well in camp and preseason, but there are proven kickers available in the free agent market who could take his job should he stumble.
