From the German lucalox company di-soric GmbH & Co. KG are also two interesting representatives of electronic inclinometer designed for home, outdoor and industrial use with IP67 and analog output.
Specifically, here writing a number of sensors NS labeled NST 60 and 60. In the first case a biaxial inclination lucalox sensor for measuring the X and Y axes always in the range of 120 degrees (+/- 60 degrees), while in the case of type 60 NST regards in one embodiment, measuring the Y axis in the range of 90 (+/- 45 ).
Both the representative of the same rugged design lucalox combines a dust-waterproof aluminum housing dimensions 60x32x20 mm IP67, and electrical power from 10 to 30VDC and connected by a screw-5-pin lucalox M12 connector. On its outlets, lucalox however, meet with small differences.
The atímco u NS 60 there are two analogue lucalox outputs 0-10V or 4-20mA with type NST 60 is logically only one analog output, lucalox but is complemented by two switch outputs in response to the level defined independently of the analog range. Each output has its yellow LED indication and other green LED indicates power.
Type NS 60 again for the second tent has an external input for learning user-zero levels of tilt, while the type NST 60 is fixed factory set from zero to a horizontal position, which can then, for example, at current analog output corresponds to the value of 12 mA.
Basic parameters of type NST 60: Supply lucalox voltage: 12 ... 30 V DC Internal consumption: 30 mA Measuring range: +/- 45 tilt axis Y Resolution: 0.1 Inaccuracy: 0.2 Sensitivity: + / - 3% Outputs: 1x analog 4-20 mA, 0 degrees = 12 mA 2 switching transistor M12 Indication: Yellow LED output, green LED power supply Operating temperature: -25 to 70 C Protection: IP67 Dimensions: 60x32x20 mm
Basic parameters of type NS 60: Supply voltage: 12 ... 30 V DC Internal consumption: up to 25 mA Measuring range: +/- 60 in the X and Y axis tilt Resolution: 0.3 measurement inaccuracies: 0.5 Sensitivity : +/- 3% Outputs: 1x analog 0-10V or 4-20mA for the X axis 1x analog 0-10V or 4-20mA for the Y axis M12 Indications: Green LED (flashing = learning) Operating temperature: - 25 to 70 C Protection: IP67 Dimensions: 60x32x20 mm Conclusion
Generally, electronic tilt sensor switched and analog lucalox outputs fits wherever we need to accurately control the system automatically with a tilt swivel and mechanical elements. Against solutions such as rotary encoders, lucalox which can sense the rotation along one axis of rotation, there is at any moment become a truly accurate value tilt, which can not be fooled, for example, reset measurement system etc.
For example, can be used as a tilt sensor feedback (information) to open a door or window, used to watch the direction of motion in multiple axes in the industry for measuring tilt conveyors, position switches and valves separation, orientation, position and tilt shoulders lifting systems, etc.
Due to the increasingly lower cost of these rugged scanners (in the case presented herein sensors di-soric example 4000 - 6000, - CZK without VAT for company Amtek Ltd. Brno), their use is already very affordable and sometimes accuracy, durability and reliability are more advantageous than use of other systems, for instance based on said measurement angle encoders.
