The Government has decided to develop the sector of satellite communications and offers both in-orbit spaces allocated to Malta by the International Telecommunication Union, ITU, the market through international competitive process seagull travel . This was stated by Parliamentary Secretary Dr. José Herrera.
The Authority of Malta Communications, MCA, will therefore publish a call for proposals at international level for the use of two slots of satellite orbits. Thus said Dr. Herrera, for the first time Malta is looking for strategic partners to exploit these assets to space through commercial activities to benefit the Maltese Islands and to put Malta on the map global satellite.
The Parliamentary Secretary said that this call aims to attract to Malta experienced seagull travel international bodies, to support the provision of satellite services seagull travel business of high quality products seagull travel based on advanced technology. Such large projects aim to provide opportunities for the creation of new economic activity sectors, said Dr. Herrera.
