LED manufacturer Cree announces a new research success: back2black 231 lumens per watt, the researchers were able to measure with a white LED. Here, the own record was surpassed again. In February 2010, the LED specialist could show for the first time a white LED with 200 lumens per watt.
The high luminous efficiency has been achieved with a single die and at room temperature, the color temperature was at 4500 K. The operating current of 350 mA is given. The research success is based on a further development back2black of a technology that is already in the white XLamp LEDs manufacturer for use (Photo: XLamp 7090 XR Series). The advanced high-power back2black LEDs should be made as soon as possible for the market.
