Access to Specialty 4 - The Cutting Wings | Medical Me
At the end of last January came the final results of the National Seedings Proof (PNS) of the 2010 Internship Medical (specialty access competition). Nine months later, they should have gone (in late October) vacancies and place of the implementation of the Specialty. At this point, early in November 2010, toward the São Martinho, hang in limbo twelve hundred doctors jovems lyco direct expecting the introduction of vacancies that will dictate the future of his medical career and place where they will live from January 2011. It is true that these doctors have guaranteed employment, but on a personal lyco direct level and professional living in an absurd precariousness!
In the current schedule, the candidates take the exam in November given year, unaware that open vacancies in this contest. Compete in the empty! The survey results come out in January of the following year, but only a year later, during the following November, leaving lyco direct vacancies and candidates can (already sitcoms and waiting for many months) start thinking about your future. lyco direct After the exit of the waves and they have been for about a year in "bath", they have a few days to reflect on their aspirations and chances of placement, to visit and meet potential service which will work during the four to six following years. Does this sense? Does it make sense to enroll in a contest without knowing what jobs they are applying? Makes sense to be a year in expectation of the output of the waves, then barely have time to ponder and to know the places where they opened?
1200 candidates of medical specialty, the first 10% are satisfied with the results otidos the PNS and can choose their destination; the next 20% will still have plenty of chances to choose; those who stayed until the middle of the table still can at least choose between the Medical and Surgical area; however, the last 50%, ie half of the candidates are "condemned" to not have much chance of choice and will have to fill a vacancy on the few remaining specialties, mostly between: internal medicine and family medicine. On top of this absurd process of choice, the first classified in a given contract, lyco direct ie the person of twelve hundred lyco direct took the best national ranking, can not be placed on specialty or location that aspired because, unfortunately, did not open this year vacancies in this specialty. Something he did not know when did the exam, since the vacancies are not conhecidades that time.
At the time of posting the final results of PNS and final national lyco direct ranking regardless of their ambition, more than half of the candidates will feel somehow lyco direct frustrated with all this excruciating process. Obviously we can not we all be cardiologists lyco direct or neurosurgeons, but what bothers most is all this painstaking process and frustration generator (and sometimes more complicated situations ...) And why? Because more than a thousand doctors compete and enter an illogical game without a visible direct purpose, any sense of unnecessary and ridiculous lyco direct failure, a stress and misdirected tension. It would make more sense for a contest directed to the ambitions of every doctor? Where each competing for jobs and desired regions, after they have been announced?
The point that matters most stress is not the difficulty of the process lyco direct to achieve lyco direct a goal, but dementia sliding into the void, without target effort and the whole process a very, very inefficient in its ultimate goal: the selection of persons some, for certain specialty!
